The wingers in the modern football have been the most lethal weapon in the attack as, unlike traditional wingers who used to receive the balls in the wide areas and has the role to deliver the crosses for the striker. Now the winger’s work has been doubled up as they are expected to score more goals. Some of the examples of modern wingers are Salah, Bale, Hazard who scores a lot of goals. Apart from them, we will like to highlight some of the wingers, the amazing youngsters who can produce some jaw-dropping football in the next decade.

Description

Jota joined F.C. Paços de Ferreira’s youth setup in 2013, from Gondomar SC. He made his league debut in 2014. He agreed to a contract at Atletico Madrid in 2016 and was eventually loaned again to Porto FC. A year later, Jota joined the then English Championship club Wolves and scored 17 goals and helped the club to reach Premier League. On 30 January 2018, Wolves announced that a permanent deal with Atletico Madrid for Jota had been agreed, being made effective on 1 July.

Bailey joined Genk in 2015.  At the end of the 2015–2016 season he won the Belgian Young Footballer of the Year award. His goal in the Europa League against Rapid Wien on 15 September 2016 was chosen as the top goal of the competition for the 2016–17 season by UEFA. He then joined Bayer Leverkusen in January 2017. He finished the 2017-18 season by scoring 12 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions and also helping Bayer Leverkusen to finish 5th in the Bundesliga in the process.

Description

Justin Kluivert is a son of famous Patrick Kluivert – former Ajax, AC Milan and Barcelona player and a true icon of Dutch football. The young winger followed in his father’s footsteps and play in the Ajax first team. Justin was born in Zaandam while his father was playing in Spain. He has been at Ajax since he was just six years old, and has already won caps as a youth international, representing Holland at U15, U16, and U17 level. In April 2016, aged only 16, he signed his first professional deal with Dutch giants.  Kluivert made his first-team debut in the Eredivisie on 15 January 2017 in a 1–3 away win against PEC Zwolle. He scored his first Eredivisie goal on 19 March 2017 in an away match against SBV Excelsior, exactly 10 years and 1 day after his father’s last career goal. On 12 June 2018, Kluivert moved to Italian club A.S. Roma for €17.25 million.

Description

Callum Hudson-Odoi signed for Chelsea when he was an under-8 player and has risen through the ranks. In 2017 he represented England at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he scored in the final, but young Lions were ultimately beaten on penalties by Spain. Later in the year, he featured at the FIFA U-17 World Cup as England inflicted revenge by going all the way and beating Spain 5-2 in the final. On 28 January 2018, Hudson-Odoi made his first-team debut in the FA Cup match against Newcastle United. Following an impressive 2018–19 pre-season under the newly appointed Maurizio Sarri, the Italian announced that Hudson-Odoi would stay with the Chelsea first-team squad for the forthcoming campaign.
